I love swimming, cycling and walking along the Thanet coast. Its low horizons and huge skies remind us that it was once an island. Its strategic location meant the Romans built 2 forts (including Reculver) and the Anglo Saxons landed here, too. Capturing the interplay of light and sea is a wonderful challenge.
